2: Company you’re always loyal to?

Probably Nintendo.  I’ve owned every Major console they’ve released.  If I didn’t get them right away, I got them eventually.

6: A game that’s changed you the most?

Hmmmm.  I don’t know.  Certain games do a good job delivering messages to people.  The closest I would say is a tie between Metal Gear Solid and FF7.  At the end of Metal Gear, Dr. Naomi says that you shouldn’t allow yourself to be chained to fate, to be ruled by your genes.  Humans can choose the type of life they want to live.  The important thing that you choose life and then live.

7: A game you’ll never forget?

A Dreamcast game called Illbleed.  It was kinda cheesey, but it disturbed me.  The storyline and gameplay are something I cannot forget….The story is that this madman has set up a kind of theme park based off his B horror movies.  People go in and attempt to clear the attractions for a large sum of money, only the attractions try to kill you as you navigate.  You clear the movie themed attractions and you’re rated which determines how much money you get.  Here’s a boss fight from it.

10: A game you’ve completely given up on

Illbleed was one of them.  It took my years to complete it as I was freaked out by it.

Sonic and the secret rings.  So damn hard to play due to the controls.  I put that one down completely.

3.  The best game you’ve ever played.

This is going to sound cliche, but FInal Fantasy 7.  It was the first FF game that I had ever played and one of the biggest games at that time that I had played.  Pretty great story and soundtrack for its time

4: Worst game you’ve ever played?

Hmmm.  I would say Mission Impossible for the N64.  It was entertaining, but was short, and flawed.  I would blame graphical limitations, but then again, the N64 had a game like Donkey Kong 64 which was the most colorful, fun game I played for the N64

11: Hardest game you’ve played?

This is funny actually, but I started playing Metal Gear Solid having downloaded it on the PSN network and it’s way herder than I remember.  This isn’t the game though.  I am choosing the Xbox 360 game Catherine. They released a game patch because gamers were complaining that even playing on the Easy difficulty, they were still having problems.  Super easy difficulty was released and the game even recommends you start that low.    

I started playing it on NORMAL and had my ass handed to me.  The difficulties go to hard and super hard or something like that.  LOL

19: Which game do you think deserves a revival?

I’m going to choose an obscure game for this one.  Dynamine Headdy.  It’s one of the most bizarre platforming games that I’ve played for the Sega Genesis and has the same issue with difficulty.  The Japanese version was easy while the American version got a boost of difficulty.  Here’s a video of a boss fight.

Hmmm.  Probably Aeris’ death.  My heart broke when she died

27: Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?

Aeris’ death came close, but I’ve not played a game that made me cry.

8: Best soundtrack?

I love gloomy, dark, super depressing soundtracks at times.  The PS2 game Rule of Rose wins this for me.  The game creators had a Japanese band orchestrate the music which is comprised mainly of strings and piano; some of my favorite instruments.  Piano, violin, cello, viola.

Skyrim.  Everyone talks about it like it’s the best game ever, but meh.  I don’t find it interesting at all.  I watched someone play it and that was enough for me.
